This Privacy Policy explains how Jamo handles personal information in the Jamo iOS app and related website. It is written based on the app's current implementation and the disclosure items required by Article 30 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

본 개인정보 처리방침은 Jamo iOS 앱 및 관련 웹사이트에서 개인정보가 어떻게 처리되는지 설명합니다. 이 문서는 현재 앱 코드의 실제 동작과 「개인정보 보호법」 제30조의 개인정보 처리방침 공개 항목을 기준으로 작성되었습니다.

1. 처리하는 개인정보 항목

Jamo는 서비스 제공에 필요한 범위에서 다음 정보를 처리할 수 있습니다.

Jamo는 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 사용해 다른 회사의 앱 또는 웹사이트에서 이용자를 추적하는 맞춤형 광고를 제공하지 않습니다. 출생지는 이용자가 직접 입력한 장소를 좌표와 시간대로 변환하기 위해 처리되며, 현재 위치 권한을 요청해 실시간 위치를 추적하는 기능은 사용하지 않습니다.

2. 처리 목적

개인정보는 다음 목적을 위해 사용됩니다.

3. AI 기능

Jamo는 사주 분석, 궁합 분석, 오늘의 운세, AI 채팅 응답 생성을 위해 Google Gemini 등 AI 서비스를 사용할 수 있습니다. AI 요청 시 생년월일, 출생 시간, 출생지/시간대, 성별, 양력/음력 정보, 사주 계산 결과, 사용자가 입력한 질문과 이전 대화 맥락이 전송될 수 있습니다.

AI 응답은 자동 생성되며 오락, 자기 이해, 참고 목적의 콘텐츠입니다. 의학, 법률, 재무, 투자, 심리 치료, 채용, 신용 평가 등 중대한 의사결정을 위한 전문 조언으로 사용해서는 안 됩니다.

4. 제3자 제공 및 처리 위탁

Jamo는 서비스 제공에 필요한 범위에서 아래 외부 서비스를 사용합니다.

Apple App Store 결제 정보는 Apple을 통해 처리되며, Jamo는 이용자의 카드번호나 결제수단 원문을 직접 수집하지 않습니다. 단, 구독 권한 확인과 부정 이용 방지를 위해 구매 상태 및 이력은 Apple/RevenueCat을 통해 처리될 수 있습니다.

5. 국외 이전

위 외부 서비스 제공자는 한국 외 지역에 서버 또는 처리 시설을 둘 수 있습니다. 따라서 계정, 인증, 분석, AI 요청, 구독, 알림, 진단 정보가 서비스 제공에 필요한 범위에서 국외로 이전되거나 국외에서 처리될 수 있습니다. 이전되는 정보는 각 제공자의 보안 및 개인정보 처리 조건에 따라 보호됩니다.

6. 보유 및 삭제

Jamo는 개인정보를 서비스 제공 및 처리 목적 달성에 필요한 기간 동안 보관합니다.

이용자가 앱 내 설정에서 계정을 삭제하면 Jamo는 Firebase 사용자 문서, 관련 하위 컬렉션, Cloud Storage의 프로필 이미지, 로컬 데이터의 삭제를 시도합니다. 다만 전자상거래, 소비자 분쟁, 보안, 법령상 의무 이행을 위해 필요한 정보는 해당 법령 또는 목적상 필요한 기간 동안 별도로 보관될 수 있습니다.

7. 이용자의 권리

이용자는 관련 법령에 따라 개인정보의 열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지, 동의 철회 등을 요청할 수 있습니다.

요청이 접수되면 Jamo는 본인 확인 후 관련 법령이 정한 범위에서 처리합니다. 법령상 보관 의무, 결제 분쟁, 보안상 필요가 있는 경우 일부 정보의 삭제 또는 처리정지가 제한될 수 있습니다.

8. 알림

Jamo는 이용자가 허용한 경우 오늘의 운세, 맞춤 질문, 업데이트 안내 등을 알림으로 보낼 수 있습니다. 알림 권한은 iOS 설정 또는 앱 설정에서 언제든지 변경할 수 있습니다. 알림 제공을 위해 APNs 및 Firebase Cloud Messaging 토큰이 사용될 수 있습니다.

9. 아동

Jamo는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 만 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보가 수집되었다고 판단되는 경우 아래 연락처로 알려주시면 필요한 조치를 취하겠습니다.

10. 보안

Jamo는 Firebase, Apple, RevenueCat, Google 등 외부 서비스의 보안 기능과 iOS 플랫폼 보안 체계를 사용하여 정보를 보호합니다. 네트워크 통신은 가능한 경우 HTTPS/TLS를 사용합니다. 다만 인터넷 또는 전자적 저장 방식의 특성상 절대적인 보안을 보장할 수는 없습니다.

12. 변경

1. Personal Information We Process

Jamo may process the following information to provide the service.

Jamo does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) to track users across other companies' apps or websites for personalized advertising. Birthplace information is used to convert a place entered by the user into coordinates and a time zone; Jamo does not request current-location permission to track real-time location.

Jamo may use AI services such as Google Gemini to generate saju readings, compatibility readings, daily fortune, and AI chat responses. When an AI request is made, Jamo may transmit date of birth, birth time, birthplace/time zone, gender, solar/lunar calendar information, calculated saju context, user questions, and prior conversation context.

AI responses are automatically generated and are provided for entertainment, self-reflection, and reference purposes. They must not be used as professional advice for medical, legal, financial, investment, mental-health, hiring, credit, or other significant decisions.

4. Third-Party Services and Processors

Jamo uses the following external services where necessary to provide the app.

App Store payments are processed by Apple. Jamo does not directly collect raw card numbers or payment-method details. Purchase status and history may be processed through Apple and RevenueCat for entitlement checks and fraud prevention.

5. International Transfers

The external providers above may maintain servers or processing facilities outside Korea. Account, authentication, analytics, AI request, subscription, notification, and diagnostic information may therefore be transferred to or processed in other countries as needed to provide the service. Such information is protected under each provider's security and privacy terms.

6. Retention and Deletion

Jamo retains personal information for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.

When a user deletes the account in the app settings, Jamo attempts to delete the Firebase user document, related subcollections, profile images in Cloud Storage, and local on-device data. Some information may be retained separately where necessary for e-commerce records, consumer disputes, security, or other legal obligations.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdrawal of consent.

After receiving a request, Jamo will verify the requester and process the request within the scope required by applicable law. Deletion or suspension may be limited where retention is required for legal obligations, payment disputes, or security.

8. Notifications

If you allow notifications, Jamo may send daily fortune, personalized question, and update notifications. You can change notification permissions at any time in iOS Settings or the app settings. APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens may be used to provide notifications.

9. Children

Jamo is not directed to children under 13. If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

10. Security

Jamo protects information using security features provided by Firebase, Apple, RevenueCat, Google, and the iOS platform. Network communications use HTTPS/TLS where available. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
